What is Reality?
Reality Illinois, the Teen Advisory Panel to the DuPage County Health Department, is made up of high school students from across several schools, who work together with the community to make a lasting impact on the lives of youth. This is done through education and promotion of policy changes that reduce youth substance and tobacco use, and increase mental wellness.
Reality is a great way to strengthen your leadership and advocacy skills, and make a positive impact in the community.
Reality students were able to convince the Glen Ellyn Park District and the Carol Stream Park District to pass an ordinance to make all parks smoke free, and also attended the signing of the Tobacco 21 law by Governor Pritzker.

For more information, email Gilda Ross, Glenbard Student and Community Projects Coordinator or call at 630-942-7668
. All high school students in DuPage County are welcome to participate.
